Summary
Oil painting on canvas (oval), Judge Walrond, British (English) School, late 17th century. A head-and-shoulders portrait of a man wearing scarlet judge's robes and a white neck band with falling lace ruff. He is turned slightly towards the right and looks out at the spectator. He wears a long brown curled wig and is set against a dark background. A companion to the portrait of his wife, Mrs Judge Walrond.
