Half-length portrait of a man, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, light-brown shoulder-length hair, moustache and pointed beard, wearing a black jerkin, falling lace ruff, silver and gold brocade sleeves and silver sword belt.
Bequeathed by Maurice Egerton, 4th Baron Egerton of Tatton (1874 - 1958) to the National Trust with the house, gardens and contents of Tatton Park
