Summary
Oil painting on panel The Head of a Female Saint attributed to Simone Pignone (Florence 1611 – Florence 1698). Head, turned to the left, face turned to the right, almost in profile, looking over her left shoulder. (The finger appearing at the bottom of the composition suggests that the picture may have been reduced.) The hand suggests that the picture has been cut down.
