Summary
Oil painting on panel, Possibly Lionel Cranfield, 3rd Earl of Middlesex (1624/5-1674), attributed to Theodore Russel (London 1614 – London 1689). A head-and-shoulders portrait of a young man, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, with long mid-brown hair with two long ringlets falling on his shoulders, wearing a white shirt and green cloak tied at the shoulder with a small red ribbon (aged about fifteen) with dark blue (?) eyes.
