Summary
Oil painting on card, Possibly Lucy Madox Brown, Mrs William Michael Rossetti (1843 - 1894) by Dante Gabriel Rossetti (London 1828 - Birchington 1882), signed in monogram and dated lower left: DGR 21 March 1874. Traditionally thought to be Lucy who married the artist's brother on 31st March 1874; Rossetti is known to have given her a more finished portrait drawing as a wedding present (Surtees 454).
