Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Piccola Piazza, Ana Capri by Herbert Cyrus Farnum (Glocester, Rhode Island 1866 – 1926), signed, bottom right, in red paint: H. Cyrus Farnum, 1895/96. Beneath a brilliant blue sky a stone street leads away from viewer. Sun streams in from the right. White houses and a dry stream, largely in shadow. On the left a white wall topped by a terrace. A bridge over the stream bed. Women stand in the shadows, and a boy on the stream wall.
