Summary
Oil painting on canvas, N. Wray (fl.1650-1660) by Sir Peter Lely (Soest 1618 – London 1680), circa 1655. A three-quarter-length portrait, seated to the left on a voluted structure in a landscape; wearing a slashed brown doublet over a white shirt; in his right hand he holds a sheet of paper on which is a drawing of a woman's head.
