Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on ivory, Anne Katherine MacDonnell, 2nd Countess of Antrim (1778-1834) by Anne Mee (London c.1760 – Hammersmith 1851). c.1817-1818. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a woman, facing, head inclined slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a low-cut high-waisted white dress, double pearl necklace, ear-drops. Dark grey eyes, curly brown hair, pink complexion, smiling expression aged about 35 to 40. Scumbled brown background.

Gifted to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009), 1976.
