Summary

Wheel-thrown, stoneware, footed cup with pronounced ridging probably by Shoji Hamada of the Leach Pottery, St Ives, Cornwall and Japan; covered in rich tenmoku glaze breaking to kaki on rim and ridges; unmarked as is usual for Hamada’s work.
