Summary
Oil painting on two sides of a panel. Originally left part of a diptych. One side shows a figure in armour carrying a wavy-edged sword in his right hand, 'S. Adriaen' written below. On other side four male figures dressed in black with white ruffs kneel in prayer. Possibly a 19th century copy of a 17th century painting.

Provenance
Originally at Aberconwy House, Conway which had been purchased and given to the National Trust by Alexander Campbell-Blair in 1934. On loan for some years to the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff before being transferred for display at East Riddlesden Hall, West Yorkshire. Transferred to Beningbrough Hall in 1984.
