Summary
Oil painting on panel, Battle Scene with Charging Cavalry, British (English) School, early 20th century. Charging cavalry of men in light blue uniforms. Wounded man behind fence in left foreground. It is possibly depicting a cavalry engagement of the Franco-Prussian War of 1879 between French Cuirassiers and German Dragoons and is probably a copy after and original work, like a print.
