Oil painting on canvas, Queen Victoria, King Leopold of the Belgians and their Suites riding out in Windsor Great Park by Richard Barrett Davis (Watford 1782 – Kensington 1854), 1839/41. The Queen shown at the front of the riding party, behind her the figures depicted include King Leopold of the Belgians and his Queen, and Lord Uxbridge, later 2nd Marquess of Anglesey on the grey horse. Immediately behind the Queen are 12 gentlemen including King Leopold of the Belgians and his Queen, the Hon. Col........ Cavendish, the Earl of Belfast, the Lord Lilford....the Earl of Uxbridge (later 2nd Marquess of Anglesey) at that time Lord Chamberlain, and Lord Alfred Paget, his younger brother, a royal equerry from 1837-77.
