A copy of Madonna reading and Christ Child said to be by Federico Barocci (1562-1612), circa 1600 when it was in the collection of T.B.Bulkeley-Owen, Tedsmore Hall, Shropshire.
Amongst chattels previously on loan to the National Trust from the Myddelton family. These chattels were purchased on behalf of the National Trust in the Christie's auction at Chirk on 21st June 2004.
