Oil painting on panel, An Unknown Lady, British (English) School, early 17th century, inscribed top right: 161[concealed by frame] A portrait of a young lady, three-quarter length, standing slightly right, in black embroidered dress with gold chain necklace, white lace ruff and cuffs and black bonnet. The collar and ruff altered at a later date.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905 – 1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
