Summary
A brass bugle with coloured cord attached. An instrument of the standard British Army pattern, introduced in c1850 and still the regulation issue. Crumpled.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
