Summary
A Chinese porcelain carafe. One of a pair of early 18th Century, Chinese porcelain, blue and white carafes of octagonal pear-shape. It is painted with pagoda buildings in river landscapes, and has blue ground, convex panels to the necks and everted lips.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
