Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Called Alice Dighton (c.1744 - 1790), as young girl, English School, mid 18th century. A full-length portrait of Alice Dighton, as a young girl, seated to right in a low-necked blue dress, at the elbows to reveal white under-sleeves. There is a squirrel on her lap and she is reaching for the blossom on an orange tree in an urn on the ground to her right.
