Summary
Velvet waistcoat in small square design in vertical stripe in cream, red and black. The buttons are self covered. The waistcoat has added sleeves of a plain twill wool in a light rusty colour they are lined with the same linen as the rest of the velvet waistcoat. The added sleeves are hand finished. On the back of the waistcoat two strips of 40 mm wide olive coloured wool have been inserted on either side to presumably expand it. Made for Lionel Tollemache, 4th Earl of Dysart.
