Summary
A chromed metal and beech toilet roll holder. The backplate of chromed metal, with a rounded rectangular plate screwed to the wall, tapering to each end and bending at a perpendicular angle to create two arms to hold the turned and varnished cylinder of beech wood. The wood with a smaller cylinder held within it concealing a spring mechanism.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Ernö Goldfinger (1902-1987) and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, Mrs Ernö Goldfinger (d.1991), formally acquired in 1994.
