Barometer; Upright member veneered with mahogany, a cup containing mercury at its base with half-cover and acorn finial. Decorative carved capital element above vertical case set at angle on a par with barometer branch. Floral architrave, gadrooning and finial. Branch set above right angle, mercury glass in centre of engraved plate. Glazed with moulded frame and carved mahogany terminal; half patera and acanthus leaf frame. Metal acorn finial.
