Summary
A blue enamel-painted cast iron sculpture of an anthropomorphic form. Slender head issuing from a sloping front apron with the suggestion of arms hanging by the sides, supported on two vertically standing legs to the reverse. With horizontal white lines painted to the front and further white highlights down the arms and legs to the reverse. Unfinished on the underside of the legs and apron.
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
