Summary
The 'Liz Box', a laminated birch plywood low table/storage box, English, circa 1965, designed by Elizabeth Goldfinger, constructed from six pieces using a slot-together technique, the top panel lifting up to reveal an open interior. Elizabeth Goldfinger, the daughter of Ernö and Ursula, trained as a furniture designer at the Central School of Art & Design. She designed an armchair (NT 112490) and a table (NT 112493) also located at 2 Willow Road.

Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
