Oil painting on canvas, Major Augustus Curzon (1787-1829) by Sophie de Tott (fl.1801-1804), signed and dated 1808. Portrait in military uniform. He was the first illegitimate son of the second Lord Scarsdale.

Recorded in Wardrobe in 1849; bought with part of the contents of Kedleston with the aid of the National Heritage Memorial Fund in 1987 when the house and park were given to the National Trust by Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000)
