A collection of family portraits, including a pair by Reynolds; a set of four Stuart miniatures by an unknown artist; 17th - 19th century furniture and an autograph fragment of Tennyson's 'The Palace of Art'. There is a small library (1223 titles) of the Massingberds, Lincolnshire squires, in part going back to the seventeenth century, the books rich in provenance and ownership marks. More recent books from the working library of Field Marshal Sir Archibald Montgomery-Massingberd (1871-1947), Chief of the Imperial General Staff, 1933-1936.
