Arlington Court, National Trust Carriage Museum, Devon
This collection has 1,073 items online
The National Trust Carriage Museum cares for the most representative collection of British carriages in the country. The collection is comprised of over 40 vehicles from the 19th- and 20th-century, ranging from a glass hearse, to the Marquis of Bute’s invalid carriage, to the Earl of Craven's State Chariot. Although none of the carriages displayed at Arlington Court belonged to the Chichester family, three are from other National Trust properties.
