Summary
A cypress, pokerwork and penwork cassone, Italian, 17th century. With a hinged lid, the front decorated with three reserves of figures in landscapes, between borders carved with interlaced Moresque strapwork.
Provenance
Possibly purchased by Charles Winn (1795 – 1874), thence by descent and transferred from the Treasury in lieu of tax in 2007.
