One of a collection of items from a pencil case including: (a) ruler, 'No. 9 ESA Holborn Viaduct, E.C'.; (b) paint brush with white paint residue and string bound around the handle; (c) rudimentary ink pen consisting of a nib on a rough wood stick, marked 'J. Birmingham'; (d) a nib marked '14K plated P.C.L. No. 6'; (e) an eraser; (f) a blue crayon; (g) a green crayon; (h) a brown crayon.
