Summary
Print, The Three Eldest Children of King Charles I, after Sir Anthony Van Dyck (Antwerp 1599 - London 1641). Prince Charles , later Charles II (1630-1685), James Duke of York, later James II (1633-1701), and Princess Mary Henrietta, later Princess of Orange (1631-1660). All three shown three-quarter length, standing, with two King Charles spaniels to left and right; Charles to the left, James, the centre and Mary, the right. The original of 1635 is in the Royal Collection, Windsor Castle. after Van Dyck of the Children of Charles I. In a carved gilt frame.
