Photograph of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, wearing suit with buttonhole, crouching down on gravel holding a rough coated terrier which is sitting on its back legs. Opposite is a young man in large straw hat also crouching and holding on to the dog's front paws. Behind is part of Lanhydrock house, two windows visible and creeper-clad wall. c.1900 Contained in a photograph album with front and back covers in tan fabric, the spine and corners of dark brown leatherette with gold tooling.

From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
