Summary
Studio photograph of a young woman standing with back partly turned towards camera. She is wearing a plain dress with broad bow and train at back and white frill at neck and wrists. She wears a small dark hat with large white feather and carries a basket of flowers. Painted background of foliage with small logs/stones. Contained in a dark green leather photograph album with embossed design on front and back, containing twenty four pages, forty eight sides, with slip-in sections and gold printed borders. c. 1865
Provenance
This album was a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
