Summary
A walnut and upholstered dressing stool, English, early 18th century style. The seat upholstered in woolen needlework stitched with flowers against an ochre ground and fixed with metal studs. Raised on four cabriole legs each headed by a lappet and on turned pad feet. A copy in walnut possibly end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th century of a type of stool popular around 1720.
