Summary
A violin and bow, mended with plaster, with ebony and mother-of-pearl fitting. One string missing. In a wooden case painted black, with a purple felt lining. With two metal catches, a handle and a lock.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
