Summary

Folding pine ironing board. Top upholstered in canvas, now badly torn and discoloured, with cotton wool padding. Fabric is attached to frame with round-headed thumb tacks through a band of similar cloth. Evidence that some have been moved, in the form of rusty impressions, suggests fabric might have been replaced or readjusted. Asbestos iron-stand at one end is attached by means of four corner screws and surrounded on the three open sides with an ovolo border of wood.
