Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Piazza San Marco, Venice after Francesco Guardi (Venice 1712 – Venice 1793), 18th century. In foreground figures, well dressed, walking towards St Mark's cathedral. On right the Campanile stretches almost to the top of the picture with the Doges Palace just visible behind. Unglazed canvas and decorated gilt frame.
