Listed in a studio bill enclosed with a letter from Thomas Jenkins to Hoare, 19 June 1762 (WSA, 383.907). Listed in an undated bill (WSA, 38304.253). Listed in 'The Catalogue or Particulars of the Pictures Prints Statues and other Things' attached to the Stourhead Settlement, 1784, attributed to 'Studio' (see Dodd, 2016) (WSA, 383.715). Thence by descent. Bequeathed by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947), 1946.
