Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Woman as Flora by Italian (Venetian) School, 17th century. A half-length portrait of a young woman, turned to the left, head facing, depicted as Flora. Wearing a white and gold brocade dress and red lined sleeves, pearl necklace and bracelet and holding a large bunch of flowers in front of her.
Provenance
Believed to be the 3rd Lord Berwick collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
