Summary
A mahogany centre, or writing, pedestal table, English, circa 1835. The rectangular top with moulded edge. Both long friezes fitted with a pair of cockbeaded drawers with ebonised knob handles. The short friezes with beaded 'panels'. Raised on a baluster-turned column on three hipped and reeded downswept legs terminating in a foot carved as a lion's paw and with beaded anklet. With brass castors.
