Summary
A woman's wedding dress made from fine cream silk georgette. The long-sleeved dress is decorated on the cuffs and the shawl collar with a single line of drawn thread work, with an integral modesty vest centre front made from gold lace. The bodice is further trimmed with an integral low-cut cream silk satin waistcoat, laced both front and back with a thick cream silk twisted cord and with eight cream silk pip pendants on the cord ends centre front. The bodice is partially lined in cream silk and the skirt has an integral underskirt also made from plain cream silk, with a combination of hooks & eyes and press studs centre back for fastening, intact.
