Summary
A woman's hat made from dark turquoise straw. The leghorn-style hat has a wide brim and shallow crown, decorated with cream cotton lace, a large dark turquoise silk velvet bow and rosette, a spray of cut osprey feathers and a small oval diamante trim centre front. The underside of the brim is trimmed with fabric roses and a shaped wired edging covered with matching dark turquoise silk velvet. The hat is fully lined in cream silk, with a drawstring for adjustment. A maker's stamp on the inner crown lining reads, "Robinson & Cleaver, Belfast".
