Summary
A child's coat with shoulder cape for a girl or boy, made from white cotton pique. The long-sleeved coat is trimmed on the cuffs and collar with a broderie anglaise frill and feather stitch embroidery. The hem of the cape and coat have broderie anglaise insertion and edging, with matching feather stitch detail. It is unlined and fastens centre front with seven large carved mother-of-pearl buttons, one missing.
