Summary
A baby's bonnet made from cream silk satin. The bonnet is decorated on the deep cuff around the nape and the crown with whitework embroidery worked in twisted cream silk thread in sprays of honeysuckle and leaves, with a cream silk fringe edging on the nape. The brim is wired, shirred and trimmed with pleated cream silk satin ribbon. It is fully lined in cream silk net, with padding in the crown and two cream silk ties for fastening, intact but fragile.
