Summary
A woman's handkerchief made from linen lawn and lace. The handkerchief has a lawn square shaped centre, which is bordered and decorated with whitework embroidery in a pattern of flowers and bows, with the name "May" hand-embroidered on the lower left side. The outer edge is decorated with a slim band of silk lace, decorated in a spot and diamond pattern.
