Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Thomas Dutton (1506/7 - 1581) of Chester, English School, circa 1650 (a century later). A half-length portrait of the purchaser of Sherborne. He wears a black cloak, white collar with a pice of lace underneath. He has a large pearl earring in his left ear and a pointed beard with moustache. (from Chester?)
