Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Wilson Aylesbury Roberts (1770 - 1853), as a boy, English School, late 18th century. A full-length portrait, standing slightly right, in a landscape, wearing a long blue coat and holding a three-corner hat. The background has been completely repainted, possibly in the 19th century. It is likely that originally it consisted of architecture and curtains. It is now transformed into an implausible landscape with a waterfall.
