Summary
A roundel from the fireplace in the Drawing Room. The roundel depicts a head and was carved by Fucigna in 1877.
Provenance
The roundel was one of three on a fireplace designed by William Burges for Worcester College, Oxford, as part of the redecoration of the Hall in 1876-7, carved by Ceccardo Egidio Fucigna (Carrara 1836 – London 1884) in 1877. Donated to the National Trust for display at Knightshayes in 2024.
