A head-and-shoulders portrait, slightly left, garter chain, black and white ruff, garter arms at top left. Label on frame 'Henry Hastings, 3rd Earl of Huntingdon KG 1535-1595. Heir Presumptive to the Crown through his Grandmother Margaret, Countess of Salisbury. Sole Heir of the Duke of Clarence, brother of Edward IV. Benefactor of Emmanuel College Cambridge'. Illegible handritten note on back.
