Summary
A burr ash cross banded and feather banded kneehole desk or bureau-table, English, circa 1730 The rectangular top with moulded edge above a frieze drawer and seven drawers around a cupboard door, raised on bracket feet. Later brass handles.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
