Summary
Toilet. Mahogany frame around white porcelain bowl marked 'Royal Doulton London', 'Satellus'. Mahogany upstand, hinged cover with hinged seat. Side compartment with hinged lid for paper and hole at side for crank handle which was used before the pull chain was installed. Partitioned off with water tank above.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
