Summary
Bell. Continental, c.1900. Hard-paste porcelain. Decorated with two vignettes - one of a girl seated playing lute with her lover, urn on pedestal in background, the other with a pair of lovers with urn and pedestal in a garden. Surrounded by scrolls in pale colours and gilding. Pink handle with gilt knob and rings of gilt flowers. Gilt clapper.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
