Provenance: gilt armorial stamp on cover displaying Vane-Tempest-Stewart marshalled with Chaplin under a marquess coronet with charges and motto (Metuenda corolla draconis). Binding: twentieth-century half marbled calf, with marbled paper boards; gilt ruled; gilt stamped device on upper board; gilt lettered black spine labels.
